To add to Stephen's experience, I too had a similar experience with a barrow
Boxster in about the same place. Bad news is the insurance company wouldn't
cover it for it wasn't my car, but the good new was it only set me back $4k
(not bad for a Boxster...)
Bottom line was this particular spot is very narrow, and lined with a ditch
and then trees just feet from the edge. It is a very dangerous place when
wet in any car.
