I ran the Pirellis in a 175/50R13 when I first started in my (ahem) Excel in
HS. Nothing like a 20 inch tall tire to give you stump pulling gearing. I
think first gear was good for about 15 MPH. I can't remember how far 2nd went,
but I remember that I didn't need third too much.
