As someone who owns both a '93 C4 vette and a '99 SS Camaro, both of
which I have
driven in national events (the SS in ESP, the C4 in AS), I would like to
say that I have
found the C4 to be a quicker car in almost all autocross courses, though
not by much.
The SS is basically stock except for a baybrace and rear bar. So what
I'm saying is I
think the SS and the WS6 belong in BS and not AS, but I don't care since
the C4 is
quicker and if I run the SS it will be in ESP (I won't get into the part
about the C4
being an underdog in AS now...)
