Okay then, just for the sake of argument, riddle me this. Why does it make
sense to exclude the ACR version of the Viper from Stock? The ACR option is
simply a "check-box" option on the order sheet for every Viper that is
ordered. This makes it an option package and not a seperate model, exactly
like the Z06 option is to the Corvette. We also know that there have been
sufficient Vipers produced to meet the Stock Category requirements.
So, why is it still excluded from the Stock Category?
And please, don't try to sell me that same old tired "because it's too
expensive" argument. With the price tag of a competitive SS Corvette these
days, "built" for the class, easily topping $50K and several other SS legal
cars easily costing twice that figure I just don't buy the cost argument any
longer.
