I'm glad the guys got to walk across the stage. I was concerned that, since
we're still listed as
2nd and 3rd on the results online, that maybe we were accidentally called
across the stage on Wed.
night inadvertently. Not to mention it would've been confusing for just one of
us to be DQ'ed
since we drove the same car. ;-)

Thank you, Rocky. Granted for awhile after finding out about the protest I was
upset. But, I
understand that some people may believe there are advantages to the head we
were running. Rich
and I just happen to disagree with them about that. :-) Hopefully, our dyno
test will remove any
doubt. Nonetheless, there's no sense in dragging things out or making
situations uglier than they
need to be. It's done. We're moving on. And next year the car will be
faster. :-D

My main concern was that people know that it was not a malicious act on our
part. We thought we
were perfectly legal (still may be if the evidence pops up). Just don't want
our names associated
with the stigma that goes with being on the losing end of a protest/DQ. :-(

Yeah, kudos to Taka on a great performance! He was scootin'!!
