Apparently Tim Aro/Rod McGeorge were penalized loss of their third runs for
being late to grid (arrived less than 30 minutes before heat began). They
protested the penalty, citing another driver in the Tue/Wed group who
committed the same infraction and received only a reprimand. They also noted
the supps, which contained the 30-minute rule, did not provide any specific
penalty for violation. Their protest was upheld, and they were given the
same penalty (reprimand) with their third runs being reinstated.
