Here's a general turbo question to discuss.
What's the difference between taking a stock NA compression ratio engine
(say, from 9 to 10:1) and putting 7-12 psi of boost into it versus building
a 8:1 CR "turbo" engine (basically lust lower CR pistons) and putting 12-20
psi into it? As long as the stock parts will physically take the stress
that is.
Why is a lower CR a standard turbo thing?
