I have no idea how to answer your question, but damn wish I knew you were at
the event. The group should have hung around for dinner and the beer
tasting contest. I was an assistant steward for the day but ended up
spending most of the time on the bridge as starter. Would have liked to
introduce myself. We always like having you Neon guys at our event, even if
the first morning practice for the group had a number of penalties and offs,
including the one mayday you speak of.

=======================
Well I was very easy to spot. The white 4 door Neon R/T, with the TireRack
windshield banner, that was the very first Neon Group car to hit the track,
and promptly spin off at Turn 3 on the very first lap of the day. ;^)
Whoops. Cold rear tires with too much pressure in them and a complete
unfamiliarity with the track, and more importantly that particular
decreasing radius corner, all spell an "off" just waiting to happen. ;^)
It was very fun even though I was (mistakenly) expecting 20-30 minute
lapping sessions.
Fun track, I'd like another chance at it but the drive there is a killer.
