Just wanted to publicly thank Per for explaining our situation. Truth of the
matter is that we really love all cars--and that makes it tough to get
everyone into the magazine, even if we're up to 172 pages and now printing
eight times a year. I wish I got a dollar every time I lie awake at night
wondering if the next issue is balanced enough: Do we have enough autocross
coverage? What about rally? Too many Triumphs? Not enough vintage? Do we need
to get another Camaro into the mag? Have we been keeping the Mustang guys
happy? Do we have too much or not enough Honda info? Is this issue's tech
piece hardcore enough? Do we have vintage coverage from both the East and
West coasts? Is it time for another big piece on the Neon?
So, we do our best to push everyone's hot buttons, and we if skipped anyone,
there no animosity on our part. We're just trying to make a well-rounded,
informative, fun-to-read publication.
If anyone ever has a questions or comments about the mag, feel free to e-mail
me directly at grmdavid@aol.com. I get the digest version of team.net, but
direct e-mail is the best way to reach me by far.
Here's a hint for everyone: If you have a car that you think should be
featured in the mag (like an ESP car, for example), let me know. You'd be
amazed how many cars are featured somewhere in our magazine simply because
someone took the time to contact us.
