My choice for best driving simulator is a game called "Test Drive LeMans"
for Sega Dreamcast.
It's the only driving game I've played where it feels like the line _really
matters_ to your times. With GT3, I can basically just keep the thing off
the dirt and set records, but with TD-LM getting a good lap time is really,
really hard.
It has a ton of modes to play in, unlockable cars, and the opportunity to
drive the LeMans 24 in real-time. (Which I haven't done - yet)
Supposedly the sequel is coming out on PS2.
