I tend to agree. While short shifters can shorten synchro life, 32K is too
short under any circumstances. I would not consider replacing the parts to
be a lie, as much as I would just consider it "playing the game". If they
say that non-OEM parts void the warranty under any circumstance, they should
expect people to swap parts. Also, from what I know, the dealer can't void
your warranty, only VWoA can do that.
