...just caught Topeka channel 49's coverage of nationals, mainly the pro
solo finale. There was quite a bit of footage of Sharon Levy, and I
think some of Corey Smith, both in their yellow ("thwap") S4.
There was also some ride-along commentary with a woman driver whose name
escapes me; one of those tip-of-the-tongue things. Familiar name, black
honda, short dark hair... umm...
Anyways, it was pretty decent coverage, with good emphasis on tech and
safety requirements. And, it beat the latest sacramento multiple
murders, which shows that these Kansas have somewhat more sense than us
left coasters when it comes to news.
They also said something about the SCCA unveiling some kind of sports
car museum tomorrow. Seems a bit weird to me, but who knows.
