Actually we (CalClub, I think before we fully adopted national rules) had a
3 wheeler class for a car I don't remember the name of at teh moment. It
was a production car and very well done. The engine was hung in front of
the front wheels. I even saw some in a low budget sci-fi film some years
ago. The car was very competitive with one of the engine options and
handled well and was very safe. I would have no problem passing one in
tech, at least locally.
