Hot is the word of the day. I was there last year and
there were only 140 drivers. I was there 2 weeks ago
for the Utah divisional and there were only 44
drivers. Very poor turn out for a divisional. The site
is pretty nice. the concrete is getting a little
broken up but not too bad.
The gambling was okay, the hotels were nice, the
mexican restaurant in the strip mall at the end of the
town (West Wendover) changed ownership and was not
very good. Gas was cheaper at the flying J and the
texaco in Wendover on the Utah side.
I will be going to Arco Atomic Days this year. It is a
little closer for me and a little less expensive.
