Interestingly enough, the current copy of Classic and Sportscar has a couple
of articles on Bentleys at Le Mans. Apparently, privateer-run Bentleys
placed sixth overall in 1949, and twelfth in 1950. So while Phil wasn't
partying with Woolf Barnato, he didn't quite miss it all.... :)
