You can update/backdate suspension parts too, not just motors - if the '95 
del Sol has the control arm he needs, he can absolutely use it (so long as 
no illegal modifications are required to make it fit).  It may not be 
necessary, given that 14.7 allows any "method of attachment" for swaybars.
