Sunny skies, mild temperatures, WIND, and MORE WIND produced sunburns and
downed cones. But then, we were in Kansas in the springtime and did not
completely blow away :-))
Straight from the Knuckledraggers fingers comes, "To all who decided for one
reason or another not to attend the Solotime
event in Salina this past weekend, too bad for you. :^P"

check out the information for the second Solotime Midwest Divisional, "Gateway
to Nationals (www.gatewaytonationals.com)," presented by St Louis region May
26-27 (Memorial Day Weekend) at Family Arena in St Charles, MO. The entry fee
is $50.00 until May 21st and goes up from there. Yep, the Solotime Gateway to
Nationals is quickly approaching!
-Two days of competition on an unsealed, huge asphalt lot.
-In door restroom facilities (Air Conditioned plus running H2O.)
-Tire service on site by R&S Racing Inc. proprietor "the Tire Doctor" Ron
VerMulm
- Championship course designed by Andy Whittle.
- Saturday's dinner at your leisure from 6:00 to 9:00 pm in the Air
Conditioned
Arena.
- Shaded canopy right next to grid for viewing results.
- Wonderful giveaways including a Free Nationals Entry, a subscription to NAP,
etc.

Other events in the Midwest during May include:
Kansas region's two (2) day regional May 5-6 at Forbes Field. Remember, this
will be a regional event and there will be no parties, no trophies no t-shirts
or award banquets. Entry fee until May 3rd is $20.00 per day or $35.00 both
days. Additional information can be found at:

Salina region's (Rocky's :-) Mirror Khana XXVII is coming up May 19-20 at East
Crawford Recreation Area. (A New Mirror Khana for the New Millennium.) This
is a no-clocks, heads-up, one-on-one, two-cars-at-a-time showdown autocross.
Saturday includes registration, tech, practice, and Brookville Hotel Chicken
Dinner. Sunday is reserved for competition. Your $25.00 entry fee includes a
Brookville Chicken Dinner. A 100 car limit and pre-registration required.
