I once saw a school bus/race car hauler at a circle track. The owner cut off
the back of the bus body and hinged it from the top. With the back swung up,
the race car came out on extendable tracks and was lowered to the ground by
an electric hoist, just like the Winston Cup cars do in their trailers. The
front 1/3 of the bus was done over as a motor home for the driver and his
wife and kids. Neat conversion.
