This may be a perverted read of the rules,
but the street tired classes require the use
of a dot legal street tire available blah blah
blah.  If you are on the wear bars, the DOT
defines the tire as unusable, illegal for street
use.  If the tire is not legal for street use,
a worthy competitor may pop you on it.......
