SOLOTIME has full sets of 8 inch magnetic numbers for $34.00 X 2 (both
sides) plus $9.00 for two sets of class numbers + shipping of $5.00 =
$82.00.

What a lot of people are failing to realize here is that the great low
prices you are quoting are for 2 numbers and a class designation ONLY. And
that's not a stab at SOLOTIME or any other graphics supplier out there.
How nuch would a full set of numbers for both sides of the car cost from
any of the quoted alternative suppliers?

A lot of times it is not always possible to have the same number from event
to event, so one set of numbers with only 2 digits doesn't always cut it.
Alan and I share his TypeR in our local series (which uses three digit
numbers: the first for heat designation and the following two being the car
number), as well as events in 2 or three neighboring regions, not to
mention National stuff. Fat chance we could both always get the same
numbers where ever we go, so this number kit will give us just about every
possible combination possible.

As for the FastSigns quote, that is a little steep. Shop around and try a
smaller "Mom and Pop" type of sign shop rather than a big franchise.
There's a local shop near me that only charges $3 per linear foot (I think
it's at least 24" wide, too) for cut vinyl and they rarely charge anything
for scanning or computer work to setup graphics. Shop around.
