Disabling ABS in SP/STS Legal?

I'm getting a new(er) car and i'd like to have the abs option since on 
saturns (the older ones at least) ABS came with 4-wheel disc brakes, and it'd 
be nice to have for the street, just in case.  There's a few times i would 
have benefited from it on my 92 SC, as it does not have that option now.  I 
would like to disable it (pull the fuse) for autoX use though but not if its 
illegal.
