I still haven't seen discussion of my favorite soda in
this thread. During the last 50 miles of the One Lap
of America, we made a gas stop at a small convenience store.
They sold MEGA-Jolt cola. If regular Jolt contains twice
the "goodness" of colas, can you picture what MEGA-Jolt
will do for you??? Having just driven 5600 miles, I figured
that I'd give it a try. After downing less than half
of the 16 ounce bottle, I was ready to take a second
lap of the country! You'd be hard pressed to tell the
difference between lab rats on crack and lab rats on MEGA-Jolt
in a clinical test! :-) The rest of that bottle is what
got me home the next day after the awards breakfast, because
I couldn't stay awake for 20 minutes until I took a sip.
Anyway, I hadn't ever seen MEGA-Jolt in the stores before,
and have never seen it since. If somebody knows where to
get it here in the northeast, please enlighten me. I need
a dose right now to fend off nap time.....
