I have been using Rancho 5000's on my Nissan 4x4 for 11+ years. My first
set lasted 125,000 miles! That included about 70,000 towing miles of a race
car I used to have.

--> Actually, a shock question for tow vehicles. Anyone have good/bad
--> experience with shocks for 3/4 or 1-ton trucks? My '92
--> Dodge 3/4-ton
--> diesel 4X4 X-cab pickup is approaching 180K miles, and the
--> OEM shocks are
--> probably even less optimal than they were when they were actually
--> working. This truck has a pretty firm ride, but I suspect
--> that good shocks
--> could help with that at least a little. I am not looking
--> at Konis (custom
--> valved or not), and I suspect that I'd be fairly happy with
--> something
--> pretty cheap, like what I can get at Sears or AutoZone.
--> But I would be
--> interested in things to avoid or something to look for. TIA.
