Why no 2 seater STS? because you'll have 914's and 914/6's showing up from
the PCA. Cars with 6 figure annual budgets.
Then come the MR2's with big budgets that fight the 914's. And it'll just
get ugly from there. Lotus.
The hot two-seaters are already being raced in lots of venues. And are fully
developed.

In a nutshell, power to weight ratio. In a one-class preparation category,
light cars will be almost impossible to beat. Same rational (for now) in SM

The SCCA -- couldn't say if it was the Rally/Solo staff or the SEB (although
I can guess....). The proposal we sent in had a multi-class structure that
included everything. In retrospect, starting with a single class wasn't a
bad idea -- the current ruleset is fluid enough that we probably don't need
to make it more complicated. Yet.
