Jeff,
I've known all along that sports cars are more fun. I don't think it takes a
genius to figure that one out. (grin) But look at the cost differences in
campaigning a competitive SS/AS car, vs. a ES/HS car. Having spent plenty of
time in these classes, you know that this is a real determining factor for
many folks.
As I said in another post, there are many cars in HS, but few (one, two?)
competitive ones. This to me is why you don't see as many people running
there. Lately we've had pretty good HS attendance at our local club, but
I've got to think that most of them get frustrated when a guy in a Civic Si
(me) comes out and beats them by 3-6 seconds each weekend. I'm a decent
driver, but I don't consider myself to be _that_ good.
