Regarding DSMs in ESP, in addition to Fedja Jeleskovic's sixth place trophy
finish in '99, Brian Fitzpatrick was seventh in '99. I know, because I was
within .034 of both of them.

Ummm,
Mr. DSM himself, Fedja (I don't really need the last name in this crowd)
Jeleskovic, trophied in ESP last year. 7th place I believe.
DSM's can be competitive in ESP. Fedja had a few power problems this year,
but next year could be a different story.

No, the DSM is not competitive in ESP. It has never been competitive in
ESP. It is cannon fodder. Everybody knows the ESP results this year are
tainted by the presence of the M3. It may even be the first time the DSM
has every trophied in ESP.
This year I only see one DSM listed in GS which finished in 19th nearly
3 seconds back - not exactly a large sample to draw conclusions.
