Jim "Presented Trophies In A Nearly Empty Room" Crider
================================
That's another thing that bothered me about the Friday night awards banquet,
besides the bland road-kill chicken dinner (actually an appetizer if you ask
me). I ran T/W but attended both banquets as I was there for the whole week
to watch and relax. It was not only sad, but downright rude at the number
of people that left as soon as dinner was over (or soon there after during
the presentation) and left the awards recipients a nearly empty audience.

I understand that some folks have to get back home in time for Monday work,
but how many people really just wanted to get to bed early instead of
actually leaving town on Friday night as opposed to early Saturday morning ?

I felt sorry for those tropy recipients at Friday's banquet. I could almost
hear the crickets chirping in the corner of the room. I know we can't make
folks stay, but perhaps if the awards were presented before the
dinner.................

I mean really, 10pm is 10pm whether you eat first or last. Besides, Taco
Bell is always open until at least 1 AM. I know, I was stil hungry after
the chicken dinner.  ;^)

Just some random thoughts.
