I will dispute the South as a power course. Look to ES beating DS and within
ES, the WAY underpowered CRX finishing second. AND the new 'super-Celica's' not
even cracking the top 3 - it was the old HS cars in 1st and 3rd. Looks like
handling was at a premium.

Another observation out of the ESP and ESPL results is that the M3 was
superior on both the South and North courses by similiar margins. Even
though the courses were quite distinct. Even Stagnaro couldn't manage to
hand Madaresh an advantage!
More than that, since Tunnell had a larger (.651 second) lead over Madaresh
on the supposedly CP oriented course then his lead over Madaresh on the
technical course (.415 second).
I think the discussions yesterday about the gearing on the M3's dispells the
notion that the M3 has a power disadvantage over the ponycars. Taking into
account it's gearing, the M3 has a higher power/weight ratio than the
ponycars, not to mention it's better rear suspension for turning, and
200-400 lb lower weight for steady state cornering and transitions.
