One thing to remember is tread wear ratings are based along products from
the same company
The A3S03 gets a 40-tread wear rating with 3/32 of tread. With 11/32 the
Hoosier street tire gets
A 300 if the tires were the same except for tread depth (say a 11/32 A3S03)
would be a tread wear of 160
So they are not quite twice as hard as our beloved autocross compound :)
I still think IMHO the Kumho 711 has an edge in STS and they have proven to
pay contingency, the BFG G-force kd might be even better
But BFG last time I heard is not offering any contingency at nats this year.
So what does that leave us with? It just says TBA on the website
Actually I just checked the website and you can win contingency running
Hoosier streets :) When I talked to Jeff Speer early this year
He told me Hoosier was not going to honor Contingency on STS entries WELL
according to the SCCA website they are going to and 4
Tires is a nice win :) I guess STS is getting the support it deserves Now if
we can just get the other tire companies to offer contengency :)

The tires look pretty good except for the 300+ treadwear ratings.
