Now the web site doesn't say anything about placement of the tirerack.com
"windshield banner." I don't recall reading anything about it in the supp
regs in sports car either... Probably just an oversight. Oh webmaster do
you read the list?
Also can one send a SAE and get the sticker early so we can drive around
town before nationals with it on?
Quoting the web site on Nationals information:
ENTRY INFORMATION / DECALS
Now through August 18: Standard fees as published on entry form
August 19 - August 25th: Standard fees, plus $50.00 late fee
August 26 - September 13th: Standard fees, plus $150.00 late fee
Entry Withdrawal Deadline! September 6th, 2000
Reminder: In the interest of fairness, and to allow SCCA officials, the
Forbes Field site workers, and your course designers the proper amount of
time to prepare the Solo II Nationals site for you, there will be absolutely
no admittance to the site prior to 2:00 P.M., on Thursday, September 7, 2000
Please make sure your Tire Rack SCCA Solo II Nationals Championship decals
are in the correct location before you go to tech. The decals must be
displayed on the upper half front fender between the center of the wheel
opening and the leading edge of door or just behind the leading edge of the
door. For cars without fenders, decals must be on the nose and/or adjacent
to the numbers on the sides of the car. Placement will be checked before the
car passes tech.
