Please make note of some changes to our procedures at the 2000 Georgia
State Solo II Championships held at the Georgia National Fairgrounds in
Perry, Georgia (110 miles south of Atlanta on I-75).

All competitors will need to enter the fairgrounds from the East entrance
listed as the "participant entrance." At that entrance each person will
pay $5 for entry into the fairgrounds. Be prepared to pay cash as they
don't have provisions for checks or credit cards. If you pre-registered
on-line BEFORE Wednesday, August 23rd at midnight, your name will be on
our list and you will get your SCCA participant badge at the gate. If you
wait to register at the sight you won't get your badge until you go to
our registration.

This means entry fees will be $40 for a 2-day entry and $20 for a one day
entry (payable at our registration).

Our paddock area will be in the grassy area to the East of the mall area
leading to the North entrance of the fairgrounds. Please be as compact as
possible in your space. Please make your area as attractive as possible
as we will be part of the Georgia Motorfest Show and you are all
ambassadors of our sport. Be prepared for people looking at and crawling
around your race cars and the necessary security precautions this
situation demands.

Also, bring as much shade with you as possible. The sun can get real hot
in middle Georgia in August. Full rest rooms are next to our site and
food and drink are readily available in the Georgia Motorfest show areas.

Please register on-line at: <atl-scca.org> BEFORE Wednesday evening
(August 23rd).

If we have 100+ competitors (as of this writing we have 75 registered)
there will be a $1000 purse distributed among the top 20 competitors
scored by the PAX handicapping factor ($200 for first place, $20 for 20th
place).

Camping and RV facilities are available on site. You will have to make
separate arrangements with the fairgrounds for use of those facilities.

The schedule of events is below. Please notice that 2-day competitors
will be running at 9 AM on Sunday. All Sunday-only competitors will be
