The surface at Topeka is VERY broken up. They patch the heck out of it to
make the course work, but it is pretty rough in the paddock areas.
ROllerblades would probably be fatal!

Also, from the supps:

Skate boards (motorized or manual, with or without stand-up handlebars or
seat), roller blades and roller skates (motorized
or manual), are prohibited from use in all areas of the event site. Intent:
Skate boards, in any form, or name, with the basic function/
form of a skateboard. The Chief Safety Steward will make the determination
of vehicles qualifying under this regulation.

Once you get there you will understand!

> So I figure a bike is a must... but what about rollerblades instead? I
know you can't have wheels on the course, but are Rollerblades ok instead of
a bike? I wouldn't see why not, I think I am more likely to fall off a bike
than on skates.
