Duralube may be bad for engines but it works better
than WD-40 on door hinges and the like.
In the machine shop we used WD-40 exclusively and
Duralube is better. I would never add it to an engine...
again..... I tried that once in an older car but never again.
Maybe the Duralube spray has a different makeup than
the engine oil. Works great outside the engine.
