As an owner of a well prepared "overdog" F500 in this class I'm going to chime
in and say that I think the class is pretty damn even. Scott is fast enough to
win Nationals, IMO. The fact that he hasn't shouldn't give Vee owners a ticket
to keep piling on additional mods. Just this year in CenDiv, I've been roundly
beaten at about 50% of my events. All of my defeats were by the hands of drivers
in Solo Vees. These guys have all had their days so far ... Drew Ducus, Scott
Nardin, and Ricardo just beat me this weekend. Yes, I know I suck as a driver,
but it seems to me, and others outside the class that there is a lot of parity
right now. Bruce Domick (former Solo Vee driver) seems to agree, and he's driven
both types of cars, back to back, on nationals style courses.

In general, stop your whining, make your car and yourself faster, and get out
and race. Nobody's just going to hand you these wins, you have to get out and
earn them. As long as feel that you're an underdog I can guarantee that you will
be.
