I here from Tire Rack that the heat cycling process they put the tires
through is recommended by all the major manufacturers. I have only bought
tires that have been heat cycled form them so I don't have any experience
with the non Tire Rack heat cycled tires. Then in talking with fellow
racers about this I haven't found anyone that says the heat cycle process
that the tire rack uses makes any difference as long as you heat cycle the
tires on the car, such as doing circles in both directions in a remote
parking lot, then doing several hard acceleration and braking runs to build
the heat in the tire and then remove the tires for at least 24 hours. Does
anyone have any opinions on this subject? I'm getting ready to order
another set and am wondering if I really need to pay the $15 charge per
tire.

Thanks in advance.
Advice will be appreciated.
