Sure it's a huge, brand new lot, and yeah, it's convenient to historic
downtown St. Charles, food, shopping, etc. Of course, beautiful downtown
St. Louis and its many attractions are a quick 20 minute jaunt down the
highway.
But you all seem to be missing the point! There are FIVE casinos within
FIVE minutes of the event site and nearby hotels. How's THAT for
enticement.
In fact, if one were inclined to shell out a little extra dough, one could
stay at the Riverport Casino hotel, and make an actual vacation out of it.
I bet the valets would put your car right up front if you left all the
stickers on it.
Just another factoid. By the way, I could probably be coerced into acting
as official "Casino Tour Guide" Friday night. I play blackjack a whole lot
better than I drive... ;-)
