For the benefit of those whose first computer was new
enough to have color graphics, this whole add-on thread
was mocking the ancient text computer game "Adventure".
You'd be hard pressed to find a mainframe without this game.
"XYZZY" was a magic word in that game, which transported
you from the well house to the underground tunnels.  In
some versions, "plugh" and "peelgrunt" transported you
to other locations.  Dennis Grant apparently spent lots
of time lost in Witt's End judging by his post.

Next week's off-topic:  How big of a crater did your lunar
lander make when you ran out of fuel playing LEM????? :-)
