I guess it really depends on the officer, not the location or district or
situation. I've had good and bad experiences with police officers, once even
had a good and bad experience at the same time (nice cop driving the trooper
car that pulled over, bad cop in the passenger seat). I wish there were
personality tests for such things...
But I agree, it's a tough job and the bad cops out there make most people
want to disrespect those good cops out there. Sadly, the bad cops get better
publicity...
