I don't have my rulebook handy, but the passage covering upper strut
mounts, camber plates and alternate upper bushing materials is highlited.
 You may install any type of adjustable upper strut plates, drill any
holes necessary for their installation and/or slot the original holes to
facilitate mounting with one qualification.  The central hole which
allows access to the top strut nut (and most adjusters) may not be
modified.  The upper strut-mount blate/bushing/bearing may be replaced
with another of alternate material.  You will find that this is
specifically the only place where steel or other metallic bushings are
allowed.  All other bushings may be changed to any material which is
non-metallic.  Except for engine, transmission and differential mounts,
which must be as original.

That is my best paraphrase.  If you want I will find the passages which
apply and give you their #s.
