Chances are that your old Kumhos wore at a slight angle due to waiting so long before you flipped them on the wheels. You now have a sharp "new" shoulder to wear down and round off. FWIW, Salina concrete is VERY abrasive (and super sticky) so you'd likely want your best rubber on the front wheels of your Honda. Just scrub them in well before you get to Salina and you'll be fine.
