For the Probe GT's in GS, supposedly going to the 626 front sway bar
(smaller) gives better neutrality since it normally understeers so much.
Many PGTs have disconnected their front sway bar for racing GS with Tokicos
full soft up front and full stiff in the rear.
For DSP/ST, getting the thicker rear bar is the way to go. I'm also
considering changing my front bar to the smaller one, even with the stiffer
rear bar to get more traction up front.
Question: If I'm neutral handling with 3f/5r Tokicos and went to a smaller
front sway bar and stiffened the struts up to 5f with 5r (full stiff all
around), would that help or hurt front wheel traction? Seems like it should
help since the sway bar continually pulls up on the inside front wheel,
whereas a strut would allow it to eventually come down. Any ideas?
