Well, I'd say that ANY Camaro that has the time and effort put into it as
Ames' (now Steve Eguina's car) is DONE. Let's see..... An LT4. Oh yeah,
that was done. How about a custom made Torsen diff that STILL costs $1k to
buy! Madarash's car is done. It has a fresh engine (the biggest one
allowed by the rules too), light wheels fancy rear sway bar and on and
on.......

Let's not go there okay? There was a huge error in the service manual that
you don't know about.... I never thougt the Supra was a bad ESP car if the
boost was in order. I think the DSM cars are good ESP cars, but should
have the small turbo's. They now do, and oh by the way are very
competitive. Let's not make this look like a witch hunt. It's not. And
FWIW, the Supra would have won if Jamey hadn't hit cones on EVERY run at
Nationals...... I guess it's slow.

I never said my car was as fast as it could be. It just needs a motor,
which I don't have the money for. It will slaloms and has lateral grip out
the wazoo. Let's look at how bad the car is/was in FS form. Why should I
change it?
GM went through all the trouble of building 1LE's to road-race. They
slipped in different T-5's to get a lower 5th gear, they had special fuel
tanks, bushing, spindles, brakes, driveshafts, A/C delete, *aluminum* spare
wheel and some other stuff. They car has 500+ pound springs in the front,
it has a 36mm *hollow* sway bar. It already IS a SP car. What makes you
think I can out-do GM's millions?????? The car needed more tire in my
opinion. It got it. It worked. My big plan in 99 was to improve the car
all along. Turned out I was winning, and thought it best not to f*ck it
up, just drive it. I'm not unhappy with that choice, but let's not use MY
car to compare. Of course if you want too, find John Thomas and ask him
what a pig it is.....
