Bandoleros

I am thinking about buying a Bandolero car...tube frame, fiberglass body,
450 lbs, 30 bhp v-twin, 100+ mph...as a kind of dual-purpose car.  There
is a pretty active asphalt oval scene and a developing road race scene
here in North Texas.  If you were at the Fort Worth National Tour you saw
two of them in the Nascar garage.  Has anyone out there had any
experience with them?  Is anyone autocrossing one?  What class will they
fit in?
