Once upon a time, in a far-off land known as USENET, there was a man who
signed his posts B1ff.

B1ff was a c001 d00d who liked to substitute numbers for letters and words,
and such like. Reading a B1ff post was a lot like crossing a Prince song
title with a ransom note made up from pictures of vanity plates.

Unfortunately, the hacker wannabes (think: alt.2600) picked up on
B1ffspeak, and now all the scrip kiddies ta1k 2 3ach0th3r l1k3 th155, wh1ch
can g3t v3rr3 ann0y1ing.

Much the same way that SPEAKING IN ALL CAPS MEANS THAT YOU ARE YELLING YOUR
FOOL HEAD OFF, sp3ak1ng 1n B1ffsp3ak m3ans U R a skr1ptz k1dd133 wannab33
l000z3r.
