Well... it depends.  Can you handle 102% of the propshaft revs at your chosen
vehicle speed without overrevving the engine (or falling off the end of the
power curve) in the transmission gear you've selected?  While the 3.9 will give
2% more torque at the wheels than the 3.82, it's not that much of an
improvement.
