The "groove" is the tire carcas slpitting!

It's not Tire Racks mistake, that's for sure. It is however a manufacturing
"opportunity" to put it nicely. Kumho should look into it and fix it at a
later date, maybe on the next molding, let's hope.
The fact that you have more lefts than rights doesn't make a difference.
It's the same tire except one has an "r" and one has an "L" stamped on it.

Where have you been? I beat this one up a month ago!

I'm told it is "safe" to run with the split, but for now I've switched back
to the R-1's I had in storage. I'll get the courage up soon and tun the "K"
tires again soon.
