Forbes "Asphalt", even if it somehow became available is not only just a
skim coat, it is basically loose black sand.
Even cold race tires are covered with "black pepper" from an easy drive to
tech or just rolling a car length in a pit space. I think it even tends to
stick to the bottom of shoes.
Where do you think all the black "sand" on the edges of the south course
start area comes from? My bet is the "black pepper" that gets tracked
and/or blown in from the "asphalt".
Not fun stuff to drive on!
