Gee...kinda odd to have my name as part of the subject. See "Randy Chase
flatspots his tires again!" 8-)

Mine were 225s all around on an MR2...including 6" wide front rims.

So you will be looking at 50 runs or so. Might depend a lot on your
style and the surface. That is close probably. The Toyos always wore on
the outside shoulder for me. If I did not flip them, I would still have
tread showing and cord would show on the outside corner. If I did flip
them, they would have zero tread and still be good to go (in fact,
better) for another 20 runs.
I am not sure if that helps you much. It would be best to have an extra
set of tires ready to go at the McKamey. Be unfortunate to potentially
waste runs because your tires are gone. Of course, that means you have
to have another set of rims, or someone else with your type of car that
is willing to be insurance for you.

Understood. Perhaps you could use your street tires are back up also. I
would suggest that a lot of what you learn in McKamey will not be lost
at all because you are on street tires. In fact, perhaps the opposite.
Keep in mind (hard for me to do!) that you are there to learn, not to
show them how fast you are. 8)
Hope that helps...
