While I enjoy listening to all of the discussion about the faster cars
that have moved into G-Stock in recent years, I have not heard any talk
of looking at all of the cars in the class with an eye towards moving
the slower cars into HS or ES.
The GM N-Body cars (Garnd Am, Calais, Skylark) come to mind. A few
years ago, before the Preludes were moved from BS, the Type R showed up,
and thr Eclipse was redesigned thus making it competetive in GS, my '88
Quad4 Grand Am was reasonably competetive in GS. The Probes may have
been a little better, but I could genrally hang with them.
With addition of the cars mentioned above, GS is a totally different,
much faster class. I'm sure there are many other cars that could (&
should) be moved out of GS and would not be overdogs, or even
competetive, in HS or ES.
