Mike Its not going to cause a short. I have been using this stuff for about 20 years with no failures. The dielectric grease has micro particles of iron filings in it to conduct electricity. Works great on battery posts/cables, too. I will probably give you a call either Fri. night or Sat morn about meeting with you. Thanks Bill Schmidt >>> <Hottvr@aol.com> 08/24 8:43 PM >>> I have been fighting the same problem! I keep cleaning them up and in two or three weeks they get kinda green again. I'm a little scared about the dielectric grease # I'm afraid it might cause a dead Short(Not you Byron) in this application. Anybody have any ideas? On this one? Or is the other option to rewire the trailer twice a year? I seem to have to do it to the C-Mod cars anyway! Whats a few hours for the trailer? Mike B. TLS#1 |
